Sankofa Blessing Ceremony
This unique ceremony provides the new mother with a special time of blessing and words of wisdom from wise women and mothers of her choosing in her community. This differs from a baby shower in that the focus is the mother first, then her precious little one. We will bless the mother with good food and comfort where she can address her wishes for the new baby and her passage into motherhood. A gentle massage and pampering session is included if the mother so chooses. This ceremony ideally for mothers between 28-35 weeks of pregnancy. To schedule a class, send us a message on our CONTACT page.
